4th of July

It has been more than a week since the 4th but I thought I would post a bit about it.
Wednesday night we were able to have a BBQ with the Tuckers to say goodbye to them. It was a lot of fun. We have a lot of friends moving this month so it was nice being able to see some of them and say goodbye to them. We miss you Tuckers.
Thursday we were able to see Logan Cities fireworks. It was a lot of fun. We usually go inside the stadium, but this year I went out early and put our blankets out in the field by the Hyper. My parents came up and we had dinner then went to our places on the field. Abbi had a lot of fun tormenting Kyle and running around. The Brady's joined us on the field. Also Alyson came with Laura and Yvone. Ladies that she works with. She also brought sparklers, Abbi loves the sparklers.
The next morning we packed up and went to Kurts parents house. We had a BBQ and a pool party with all of the family. Abbi really is a water bug. We had to pull her out because she was freezing. Her lips were purple. But as soon as we got her warmed up she wanted to go back out and play. That night we did fireworks and we camped out on their lawn.
We went to my parents the next morning for some hard work and fun. I love working hard. We were planting their lawn. We also were going through grandmas stuff and dividing out the jewelry and other keepsakes that she had. We had a BBQ to celebrate getting the lawn in and it was just a lot of fun spending time with my family.
The Forth of July is one of my favorite Holidays. I am so grateful to live in this country. I always get teary eyed when I see the fireworks and hear our National Anthem. I am grateful for those who have fought for our freedom and those that are still fighting.
