On July 8th Stephanie Amber and I took a sewing class to learn how to make skirts. Surprisingly our skirts turned out really cute. I have lost my camera so I don't have any pictures of it. We are still looking for our camera. We think it may be at a parents house somewhere.
Anyway, I had a lot of fun making my skirt and wearing it to church. The class was fun because when we got there three girls that we knew were there too. Lina, Marcie and Jodi. Amazing how a little bit of material can change into something you can wear in a matter of hours. I definitely felt like I accomplished something that day. :)

What did you do Last week?
Then on Friday we took on a HUGE project. We painted our Apartment. Our living room, hallway and bedrooms. That was fun and it is nice to finally have it done. We have lived here for two years and when we moved in our Landlords said, "Sorry we didn't have enough time to paint the apartment. We will buy you paint and you can do it if you want to." Well it took a year to finally pick out the color, and for them to listen to us. Last summer in July I believe they gave us the paint for the kitchen and we got that done in two days. Because we actually mudded sanded and primed. Then in August, I believe it was the week before school started they gave us the paint for the rest of the apartment......Fat chance getting it done then. We were going to get it done over Christmas but come on....who wants to do it then? Plus Kurt was working 2 jobs. So about 3 weeks ago I said I am going to give you a week of no school then we are painting the apartment. Kurt was more than willing......seeing as how every time you brushed up against our walls the primer rubbed off on to your clothes. So after having 2 years of primer our apartment looks so good. I love it. It just makes me feel better. You know what I mean right??? Who knew I would be so excited about a new paint job? So here are some before, during and after photos.
Okay, so most of them are from during and you can't really tell what it really looks like in a picture....that is why all my friends and family are invited....encouraged to come and take a look. :) If you let me know before hand I may have brownies or some kind of treat ready for you.

April Fools!!
I love this Holiday! For 2 days Kurt and I kept trying to come up with a way to get our neighbors....we thought about Methylene Blue, putting it in brownies, putting cardboard boxes in their windows so they think it is really bad weather outside.......making browines and putting little rubber bugs in them. But none of them seemed to work out right. So what we did do is found a bunch of pictures with our faces and their faces and we put them up on their window. We also made a sign that said,"We are Watching you!" It was really funny. We got Brad really good. We put them up, knocked on the window and ran. It was really funny.
Then, we took the pictures and put them on our other friends window. That was funny too. We had a good time.
For dinner I told Kurt that I was making Spaghetti but I really made Beef Strogenoff. But I dyed it red. I looked really bad. Kurt asked so many questions as to what I did to the sauce. He was really concerned. Before the prayer Kurt said,"This looks like Raspberry Spaghetti." He almost didn't eat it. I had to convince him to. Abbi thought it was wonderful. After Kurt ate it he realized it wasn't what I said it was. MY prank on my family didn't work out too well. Maybe next year.

What did you do for for this wonderful Holiday? Or what pranks were pulled on you?
