July 4th and Weekend

July 3rd is a Holiday for us here in Logan. Kurt, Abbi and I have made it a tradition to go to the fireworks at Romney Stadium every year. Well Kurt and I have going since we were married and Abbi went last year because she was in my tummy. But this year Abbi got to see them and not just hear them. Uncle Trevor and Grandma 'Reen came up to Logan to see them also. We had fun just sitting in the stadium and talking and finding out that Trevor is going to get married in September. We are really excited to welcome Malory into our family.
Abbi was just like her father when the Fireworks were going off. Laughing and smiling and totally awestruck. Towards the end her main focus was to stay awake. It was way past her bedtime.
The 4th she was sick. She got the bug that has been going around. So we just stayed home and enjoyed time together. We went out to lunch and then rented movies from the Redbox. Gotta love Redbox. We tried to stay cool.

Then Friday morning we headed for Reno. We had a family reunion in Sparks. It was a lot of fun seeing the Egnews (my moms family). Abbi was such a good girl on the long car rides. Even though her whole schedule was off.

When we got there we only had one room for the first night so we had Kurt, Abbi, me, Derek, Kristin, Logan, Gma 'Reen, Gpa 'Reece, Kelci, Trevor, Malory, Gracie, and Gabbi all in one room. Let me just say that it was a rough night for all of us. I am surprised that we didn't chase off Malory. She still likes us. It was an adventure. But we all got our own rooms the next night. When we got back we got to go and spend some time with Gma and Gpa Hammond. It was nice just sitting and talking to them. We love being with our families. We love Holidays. Any excuse for a party is what we like.
